Masala se prevodi kao začinska mješavina pa vas zato ne treba čuditi što postoji mnoštvo indijskih masala… S druge strane, tandoor je ovalna glinena (ili u moderno vrijeme metalna) pećnica koja se u Indiji koristi za pripremanje mnogih oblika hrane.
Sastav:kumin, korijander, crvena slatka paprika, kurkuma, luk, kardamom, crni papar, gorušica, đumbir, galangal, muškatni oraščić, cimet, klinčić.
Ova mješavina je dobila ime po tandoor, tradicionalnoj glinenoj posudi koja se stavlja u tradicionalne pečnice(peke), rodom je iz „srednje Azije, a zatim se proširila diljem Indije. Pećnica se obično nalazi u dvorištu, nešto poput naših krušnih peći, temperatura može doći i do 500 stupnjeva.

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required.
